Die Miniaturen in vornehmem und ansprechendem Stil wurden von zwei Prager Buchmalern ausgeführt. Der Künstler der Initialen A mit Papst Gregor den Großen (fol. 1) und P mit Maria und dem Kind (fol. 30v) ging aus der Tradition des Meisters der Sternbergischen Handschriften hervor und steht dem Buchmaler der Sadská Bibel nahe (Prag, Bibliothek des Nationalmuseums, Sign. XIII A 8, XII A 19, XIII A 10; spätes 14. Jahrhundert). Diese Initialen zeigen einen etwas naiven, aber feinen Stil mit schönen mehrfarbigen Blattwerkbordüren.
Der zweite und bessere Maler führte das große Kreuzigungsbild (fol. 259v) und die Initiale T mit dem Schmerzensmann (fol. 260r) aus, beide mit Bordürenschmuck. Er wurde als der Meister der Paulusbriefe identifiziert, der in Prag um 1380-1420 tätig war. Diesem Künstler wird die Illumination mehrerer qualitätvoller Handschriften zugeschrieben.
