Freelance researcher, specialist in incunables and early printed books

Marion Hanke is an art historian (M.A., Freie Universität Berlin). After training as a bookbinder and studying art history with an emphasis on manuscripts and the history of the printed book, she was employed at first-class antiquarian booksellers since 1996. By 2005 she joined the team at Dr. Jörn Günther Antiquariat. Now a freelancer, Marion Hanke describes the incunables and early printed books, shoulders the careful editing of publications, and maintains the website.
