What Are Incunables?

Sammelband with six popular illustrated German literary works
April 17, 2019

This video from our research library gives an overview of the first printed books, referred to as incunables, featuring an extremely rare Sammelband, a collection of six popular, illustrated, German literary works. These sought-after tales include the stories of the mermaid Melusine, the destruction of Troy, the exploits of Alexander the Great, as well as Mandeville’s Travels.
