New Home for Queen Anne de Bretagne's 'Epistres d'Ovide'

Dr. Jörn Günther Rare Books is proud to announce the sale of the Epistres d'Ovide, translated by Octovien de Saint-Gelais and illuminated by the Master of the Chronique Scandaleuse. This stunning manuscript was composed for Queen Anne de Bretagne, c. 1493, and now resides in the J. Paul Getty Museum, in Los Angeles.
