Dr. Jörn Günther Rare Books returns to TEFAF in Maastricht from 7-14 March with a magnificent selection of illuminated manuscripts, early printed books, and rare miniatures. The VIP preview will take place 7-8 March and the public opening from 9-14 March.
Special highlights this year include a sumptuous copy of the Pèlerinage de la vie humaine in the version made for Jean de Laval, Queen of Naples, Sicily, and Jerusalem, the Histoire Ancienne, an impressive and lavishly illuminated chronicle most likely made for the French King Charles V, and finally, the Liechtenstein Tacuinum Sanitatis, a beautifully 15th-century illustrated guide to health and well-being – the most decorated version of this text.
To see these and other fantastic mansucripts, come and visit our stand 114 at TEFAF in Maastricht.
