The fine illumination adorns text and music for the responsory sung at the Feast of Trinity Sunday and opens with the words 'Benedicat nos deus deus noster' (Ps. 66, v.7-8). Trinity Sunday is the first Sunday after Pentecost. It is a feast of joy and thanksgiving ('O bless our God, ye people, and make the voice of his praise to be heard'). This leaf is dated 1550 in a cartouche held by a putto in the outer margin.Illuminated leaf on vellum.
